Time to walk: Approx 4.5 hours
Description: A circular walk along mountain paths, ancient woodland, country lanes and moorland tracks with superb views of the Usk valley and Brecon Beacons National Park including the Black Mountains. The group will pass though features such as the Punchbowl, Keepers Pond, Foxhunter’s grave and the summit of Blorenge Mountain. Along the way land and habitat management techniques will be discussed along with both the history and natural history of the area.
Terrain: Moderate walk with several stiles and inclines.
For your rucksack: A packed lunch and a drink.
