We’re back and we’re bigger and better than ever. We’ve got more walks, more leaders, more Monmouthshire! Tickets go on sale today for our second October walking festival.
We have teamed up with Wales Coast Path, MonBrec 200, Lower Wye Ramblers, Shirenewton Local History Society, Monmouth Civic Society, The Woodland Trust, Monmouthshire Countryside Service as well as The Brecon Beacons National Park to bring you 30 walks over 10 days.
You told us what you wanted and we listened.
You wanted a challenge. Why not walk the whole of the Monnow valley in two days? We follow the border country between Wales and England through historic villages, a variety of terrain and always stunning scenery.
You wanted mountain walking. The Blorenge, Sugar Loaf, Skirrid, Bryn Arw and Chwarel y Fan are all on our list.
You wanted woods and waterfalls, castles and coastal paths, marshland and market towns, photography and pubs, valleys and vineyards. From trees to our special “Trig or Treat” we have walks that are as varied as the county itself.
All walks are ticketed and reservations can be made on this website or from Monmouthshire Tourist Information Centres.
Autumn is a magical time of the year so why not check out our programme and enjoy the best of walking in Monmouthshire once again?
