Clare was born in Newport, South Wales and has been walking since she was 10 months old. A volunteer with the Monmouthshire Countryside Service and proud to be Chair of the Walking Festival , Clare has walked extensively in South Wales as well as Snowdonia, the Lake District, Tuscany and the Dolomites. Her favourite walks in Monmouthshire are around the Skenfrith area, enabling her to indulge her love of good food and stunning countryside. With a background in Geography and Geology, Clare will, if pressed, be happy to share her experiences of a recent walking holiday in Iceland!
