Start & finish point: A40 Underpass, Monmouth. Off Old Dixton Road near the Leisure Centre (SO512129).
Distance: Approx 10 miles
Time to walk: Approx 5 hours
Description: We will set out through the town taking in the bridges within Monmouth itself then head off towards Mitchel Troy. One long steep climb up to Penallt Church then down to the river Wye and along to The Boat at Redbrook for lunch, before we head along the Wye Valley Walk back towards town crossing the Wye Bridge back into Monmouth.
Terrain: Lots of stiles and 1 steep slope.
For your rucksack: Packed lunch, a drink and a camera.
