Description: An historical walk over Hatterall Hill, the highest most easterly ridge of Offa’s Dyke, before dropping down into Cwmyoy famous for the most crooked church in Great Britain. Following a stop at a nearby pub, there is a tour around Strawberry Cottage Wood, a Site of Special Scientific Interest owned by Gwent Wildlife Trust.
Terrain: Public footpaths over steep terrain to start. Footpaths, bridleways and some road walking.
For your rucksack: Suitable clothing and footwear for a mountain walk (walking sticks/poles recommended). Packed lunch, water/drink and of course a camera.
