Start & finish point: Pen-ffordd-goch pond (Keeper’s Pond) car park. (SO254107).

Time to walk: Approx 4.5 hours
Description: A moderate walk with the theme of local industrial history, natural history and land management issues. Starting at Keeper’s Pond, we walk over heather moorland via Foxhunter car park to the summit of Blorenge Mountain. We then descend into the Punchbowl and thereafter contour the lower hillside along Hills tram road toward Garndyrys Forge. From the forge we continue on Hills tram road until the short accent back to Keeper’s Pond.
Terrain: Moderate walk with several stiles and inclines.
For your rucksack: A packed lunch and a drink.
